I have made a recording of a bald, thirty-something year old man tweaking and fondling his nipples in the adult room of my vid-store. What's even better is seeing the pervert's reaction when Chris, who was working the shift, tells him that he was caught and never to come back. He left in his Lexus. I also made a recording of Jerôme and me being accosted by a slightly deranged man claiming he's had the same phone number for the past fifty years. Furthermore he cursed us out for being immigrants and left after spitting at our security system. I don't even get minimum wage. Bunch of savages in this town.

Some one please give Warren Ellis and Colleen Doran a handshake for me. Life would suck a little more if they quit the medium. Orbiter is a perfectly fantastic sci-fi tale of a space shuttle landing back on Earth ten years later. Ellis and Doran complement each other flawlessly in their second collaboration.

Yesterday in brief: woke up real early, woke K.G. up, ate blueberry pancakes, they tried to skimp us on the homefries, bought Orbiter, bought a brand new sketch book, walked, went to HMV, talked to Gomer, K.G. was followed by a burly man from the washroom, went to the electronics store, played with my future digi-cam, bought Midnight Club 2, bought Spirited Away, went to work, finished tedious task of entering digits in computer, worked with the rookies, got stoned, watched Spirited Away, crashed.

Moose from You Can't Do That on Television was my first crush, before I even knew what having one was. I was four and she was funny. Must have had something to do with that super mane. Do you remember how big that thing was? Absolutely huge. I'd kill to watch one of the episodes from the first few seasons right about now. This guy named Scott who was part of the gang of "older kids" I hung-out with back in ' 95 is in town tonight. He had this huge house party on what is now known as P*Day, May 19th. Drunken and stoned kids everywhere puking, passing out, making out, hanging out in his basement, all over the house, the backyard and at the drinking tower (jungle gym) that was at the park right next to his place. If you cut through the park and past the arena there was this hill which overlooks the airport runways. Dunken kids were there too doing what drunken kids do. Anyways, he's in town and I'm heading to see what's the what now.

Tonight's going to suck. I have to train one of the two new chicks at the store and work with one of the most oblivious people I've met since I first learned the meaning of the word. To top it all off, it's a fuckin' Friday. Which means triple the amount of stupid questions, long line-ups and returns. Despite it all, I'll find time to skim through some of my comic trades and take notes ... I've got five days left.

I got an extention for my review for Flux. I read Kid God's last night and Aurore's a few hours ago and was completely impressed. Now I have one week to pump out my comic book reviews. I'm intimidated with the load because Flux doesn't currently have a graphic-novel review section so I'm the only contributor. I'll have to review three or four different comic trades just to fill up enough space to validate it's presence in the magazine. Clock starts ... tomorrow. I continued my painting pretty aimlessly today and then figured out how to fill up the canvas. Can't wait to finish this first try to move on to my next one.

Just when I was ready to dedicate my entire day to giving myself direction, Aurore tells me she has this rendez-vous with this guy to re-vamp his magazine. I met up with Kid God in Old Montreal and we have coffee in this très posh place and they show great surf videos. The coffee wasn't horrible despite the fact that I only had two sugar packets and I usually tend to have coffee with my sugar. Anyways, Aurore joins us after her meeting and she's already got an interview with Ian Astbury from the Cult due for Wedneday. Also she offered Kid God and I the chance to write whatever. Who needs direction?

With all of the recent staff changes at Mega-Vid should I be staying? Right now current manager/pot-buddy Karine's moving to the wanna-be city of Toronto. Her friend Candice is leaving out of boredom. The girl who shaves her forehead (for lack of one) Jyoti will be fired shortly for incompetence. Which leaves Chris, who will also be managing the selling of my comic collection on E*Bay. Jerome, who often speaks in short segmented sentences and Braw, who completely understands that beer and sushi go well together.
